Mustafa Daou

In live in Marrakesh, and have worked with tourists since I was a teenager. I’ve known Denise for over 25 years, I met her when she was making films with young people in the desert region of Morocco. I helped her logistically with travel. 

When the opportunity came to help her make the film I jumped at the chance, I’m credited as a location manger and fixer but this came naturally to me I didn’t need to go to film school to learn it. It was an amazing to be able to involve my local community, offering paid work and experience that wouldn’t usually be available.
